This is actually a picture of two things I love: My friend Susi and "our" restaurant, Ichiban. Susi and I survived ASU in no small part because of our friendship with each other. We made it through the summer of 2000 by Friday's at Ichiban for sushi and Cranuim at Starbucks. Susi is now at my alma matre, Univ. of Wisconsin, Milwaukee as an assistant professor.
Tim is one of those guys you want to not like, but can't. You "want" to not like him 'cause he's brillant and does everything well. But, you can't not like him 'cause he's caring, thoughtful, and a fun guy. We should all be so lucky!
Chrissy is actually my friend from
home, but also lives in AZ so I put her pictures down here. She moved out to take a
consulting job about 2 months before I did. Unfortunately, we didn't hook up for
about a year, but now, she regularly calls to go to Target, P.F. Changs or to the
movies. Last fall, we went to Vancouver BC to visit another old friend, Stacey
Georgopulos. That's the 3 of us on Vancouver Island. I wish he
nothing but the best.

Ted and I
met while working together on the grant project at ASU. He has now finished his
Masters and works for Anderson Consulting. Lucky for me,he is based in Phoenix so I
still see him regularly. Just remember, "when you see crazy coming, cross the
street!" The pic is last year, Nov. 14th (date ring any bells?) in Lake Tahoe.
We went for the birthday weekend on a Surf-n-go from America West Airlines. Ted
and I aren't really friends anymore, but I would still count him in my all-time good
friend list.
