Writer-Director Cameron Crowe and his wife, Nancy Wilson (from the band Heart).   Personally, I liked Cameron's earlier works "Say Anything" and "Jerry Maguire" better than this movie.  But this time, the academy liked him, giving him Best Original Screenplay.

On the right, Kate Hudson, nominated for best supporting actress, Goldie Hawn's daughter.
